What is coaching and what is it for?
Coaching is a support process that helps you gain clarity, confidence, and conscious action.
Through questions, reflection, and self-knowledge tools, the coach guides you to discover your own answers, without judging or directing, so that you can move towards your goals in a way that is consistent with your values.
Coaching does not teach or advise, but rather facilitates a safe space to think, feel and decide with greater awareness.
It helps to unlock potential, overcome blocks, improve communication, make difficult decisions, or find a balance between personal and professional life.
At Coatzin Coaching & Mentoring, we understand coaching as a path of inner transformation, where each session is an opportunity to connect with what is essential, refocus your purpose, and build the life—or leadership—that you truly want to cultivate.
Coaching doesn't change who you are. It helps you discover it.

“Professional coaching is a collaboration with the client in a creative and stimulating process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”— International Coaching Federation (ICF)
How a coaching process works

At Coatzin, we use techniques and tools specific to professional coaching, selected for their effectiveness in generating awareness, clarity, and action.
These tools are not applied mechanically: they are integrated according to the person, the context, and the moment in the process.

Powerful Questions
We use open-ended questions that encourage deep reflection, challenge assumptions, and broaden perspectives. They are not intended to direct or advise, but rather to facilitate the person's discovery of their own answers and possibilities.

Active Listening
Listening is the foundation of the process. We listen not only to what is said, but also to what is not explicitly expressed: silences, emotions, nonverbal language, and nuances. This kind of listening builds trust and allows us to provide deeper support.

SMART
We work with clear and well-formulated objectives: specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. This allows us to transform vague intentions into concrete and sustainable commitments.

Visualization
We use visualization techniques to help you imagine your desired future, connect with your motivation, and strengthen your commitment to change. Visualization makes it easier to align emotion, intention, and action.

Wheel of Life
A diagnostic tool that allows you to assess the balance between different life areas (work, relationships, health, personal development, leisure, etc.). It helps identify priorities and areas of focus in the process.

SWOT
We apply SWOT analysis from a personal or professional perspective. This tool provides a structured view of the current situation and facilitates more informed decision-making.

Rapport
We actively work on building connection, trust, and rapport in the coaching relationship. This rapport facilitates a safe space for honest and profound exploration.

Conscious Silence
Silence is a tool in itself. We use intentional pauses to allow reflection, awareness, and integration of the work to emerge, without haste or pressure.
How a coaching process works
A coaching process is a structured journey that guides you to define goals, raise awareness, and take action with clarity and purpose.
It's not about receiving advice, but about discovering your own answers with the support of a certified coach.
Each process begins with an initial session, where the objective of the work is established and a framework of trust is created.
From there, the sessions—generally between 6 and 10—unfold in a space of dialogue, listening, and deep reflection. The coach asks powerful questions, uses exploration tools, and helps identify beliefs, resources, and behavioral patterns.
The process culminates in the definition of a concrete action plan, which allows you to integrate what you have learned and maintain the change in the long term.
At Coatzin Coaching & Mentoring, we accompany each step with a balance between introspection and action, so that change is authentic, sustainable, and aligned with your purpose.
Coaching doesn't give you answers: it helps you find them.
